Making Change: Who do I contact?

Sound money thrives where the people are the loudest! Let your voice be heard by helping to pass legislation in your state. We recently spoke with state representatives for the Utah Senate and they urged citizens to write your legislators.

Even 10 letters can make a world of difference.

To pass legislation allowing the use of precious metals as money in your state, you would need to reach out to your state officials. Here is a list of resources for contacting state legislators in all 50 states. Let them know this topic is important to you:

Community Movements for Sound Money

The introduction of Goldbacks across various states is a grassroots effort, led by dedicated individuals who believe in the power of sound money. It is not a result of state sponsorship but instead is the result of commitment and financial support from those who envision a more stable monetary future.

While having a legal tender law can enhance the Goldback’s role within a state, it is a not a requirement for adoption. For example, New Hamshire doesn’t have a state legal tender law, but the state still has a Goldback series.
