The Idaho 10 Goldback honors the virtue Perseverantia, or perseverance, through the history of Silver City, one of Idaho’s most important mining communities. The scene takes place at the Owyhee Mountains during the height of the silver rush in the early 1860s. The miner in the artwork rests beside a cart filled with raw silver ore. Behind her is the Idaho Hotel and the Masonic Lodge. Eventually, silver production declined, and the town was abandoned, but Silver City is still preserved today.

The artwork also acknowledges how Idaho earned the nickname the “Gem State.” Idaho is one of the few places in the world where star garnet, the state’s official gemstone, is naturally found. The state has also produced sapphire, opal, jasper, aquamarine, topaz, and quartz. These stones are subtly worked into the composition. Perseverantia reflects the men and women who stayed, worked, and built in difficult conditions. They shaped Idaho’s identity with their grit and determination.

Along the bottom is a passage from James 1:12: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial.”

Stunningly beautiful art work with embedded UV security features. No concerns about running across counterfeits. IMO, a great way to own fractional spendable gold. They are ALMOST too beautiful to spend but do spend 'em anyway and educated others about the importance of having some Goldbacks!

The time it took to receive the order and the shipping updates is efficient

The time it took to receive the order and the shipping updates is efficient, effective and reassuring. I was a little confused as to why it showed up as two orders. The only thing I think was disappointing, are the added undisclosed 'fees' that are only disclosed after my payments was processed. I orginally sought out your business because of recommendations that stated you were the cheapest for Goldbacks. I'm also confused as to how the payment processing vendor/software obtained my credit card information knowing I had never done business with Alpine before. This was a little unnerving because I expected to manually enter the financial information and this is what I prefer. I'm open to hear your answers in order to preserve the business relationship in order to continue to do business in the future. Thank you.
