Product Details

The South Dakota 1 Goldback contains 1/1000th Troy Ounce of 24K Gold. Features Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. She is depicted in this design as a Lakota Native American woman wearing traditional regalia and hoop dancing, with interlinked rings and wildlife, reflecting harmony and South Dakota’s serene beauty.

Design: Inspired by a live performance, the dancer explained how her regalia reflected her identity and culture. The word “Lakota,” along with “Dakota” and “Nakota,” means “The Friendly Ones,” which led the artist to include the phrase “Alliance of Friends” in the design to capture the spirit of harmony and friendship.

Great art work! Gold Back's are a modern solution to a historical issue

Great art work! Gold Back's are a modern solution to a historical issue. The value of gold will rise, where as the promissory notes will continue to lose value. These would be great in a societal collapse scenario. Or great investments for the grand kids.
