The refreshed Utah 10 Goldback pays tribute to the virtue Aeternitas, or eternity, illustrated through the 1991 discovery of the Utah raptor near Moab. Marking one of the most significant paleontological finds in Utah’s history, this event reshaped scientific understanding of raptor species. Aeternitias reflects the search for truth embodied by paleontologists whose work uncovers the deep story of the land and its ancient life.

The Utah raptor is one of Utah's most celebrated prehistoric discoveries and serves as a powerful symbol of the state's rich fossil heritage.
